The rod is used to produce molecular hydrogen in water.

As a result of the chemical reaction of magnesium in contact with water, hydrogen and magnesium oxide are formed.

1. Put a magnesium rod into a vessel with a capacity of 1-2.5 liters and pour water.

2. We wait at least 30 minutes.

3. We have ready drinking water.
